Experience

April 2020 – June 2020

Social Distance Learning Consultant

Individual | Remote
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many were told to stay-at-home, this included teachers.  Many teachers during this time were accustomed to traditional in-class learning, so transitioning to an online setting was a huge challenge for them.  As I learned how Google Classroom operated, I was able to assist teachers to setting up classwork.  This included adding assignments, organizing classes, pre-recording lessons, and live chats with students.

March 2020

Post Production Technician

Fotokem | Los Angeles, CA
Set up over 150 remote stations to keep multiple production companies afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic.  After news broke for Los Angeles to stay-at-home, many companies still needed to finish projects.  These remote stations made it so editors and producers can work from home.  Setting up these remote stations required a lot of troubleshooting, installing software, and upgrading hardware such as memory.

March 2020

Production Assistant

Fremantle North America | Burbank, CA
America’s Got Talent.  Transferred media from production site to post-production offices.  Worked next to DIT.  Sent out remote stations to producers amid COVID-19 pandemic to keep post-production working remotely.

February 2018 – November 2019

Photographer

Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division | China Lake, CA
Acquired a security clearance. Collect high-speed camera data, averaging at 30,000 fps, to be reviewed for scientific research.  Take stills of multiple test articles using a DSLR camera. Operated under the contract of Altus Technology Solutions.

August 2016 – May 2017

Co-Director

50th Humboldt Int’l Film Fest | Arcata, CA
Public relations and historian for the original student-run film
festival.  Maintained website and social network publications.  Digitized old programs, flyers, and films to be shared on a variety of media.  Assisted other directors and students to view and judge films for festival selection.  Featured in Humboldt State University Magazine.

September 2015 – May 2016

Production Intern

NorthCoast PBS (KEET-TV) | Eureka, CA
Worked on a live show called “Homework Hotline”, a 30-minute segment to help kids and young adults with their math and science homework.  Worked on the bi-annual live auction fundraiser.  Worked on the live remote broadcast of the Rhododendron Parade in Eureka. Over 100 hours of live productions: camera, server graphics, audio mixing, production assistant, associate director.
